The Deputy Chief Executive of AITI, Hj Osman bin Hj Ladis, in his opening remarks hoped that with this Challenge will continue to identify potentials from the local players to be further nurtured through collaboration with international players on digital multimedia co-production in the near future. This includes more collaborative efforts between AITI and other relevant agencies and industry players to drive and foster the creation of innovations in digital media for Brunei.

The ANIMASI-IMMERSE 3D Animation Challenge 2013 was organized by AITI in collaboration with iCentre’s IMMERSE Challenge. Dedicated to discover and support the local talents in the digital media industry, the Challenge is hoped to encourage these local talents to take a step further in harnessing their creative talents while utilizing digital technology in a creative and innovative way.

The first ANIMASI Challenge, previously known as the Pro-Digital Animation Challenge, was introduced in the year 2012. The winner of this first challenge is currently developing a trailer that will eventually be the first few Brunei-Made animation products of the digital media industry later this year.
