AITI Grant Scheme Application Briefing for ICT Industry Players


The Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) today organized a briefing on AITI Grant Scheme for interested applicants within the local ICT industry.

In his brief opening remarks, the Chief Executive of AITI, Haji Yahkup bin Haji Menuddin, mentioned that this briefing acts as a platform to enlighten the interested applicants on the general guidelines in applying the Grant Scheme as well as to receive feedback on the overall scheme initiative.

The briefing further informed the applicants on the importance of filling in the Grant application form accurately and submitting complete and relevant documents. This is to expedite the overall evaluation and award process of the applications.


​To date AITI has awarded three (3) ICT businesses, namely MARS Enterprise, Crescent Sdn Bhd and John Harith Technology Sdn Bhd, with grants estimated more than BND 300,000 in total. Each project proposal submitted for the Grant Scheme will be evaluated by a committee comprising of experts from various Government and private sectors. The proposals are evaluated based on the four main criteria which are technology merits, commercial potential, financial and resources and project plan and capacity to deliver.
AITI is currently opening the third batch of the AITI Grant Scheme application for submission of forms from 31 December 2010 to 31 January 2011 . Any interested parties will be able to view and download the application forms and guidelines for this scheme at AITI's website at
