AITI holds korban ceremony

AITI today held an ibadah korban ceremony at its office in Anggerek Desa. Present as the guest of honour was Awang Adi Samsul bin Hj Sabli, Deputy Permanent Secretary (IT and e-Government) at the Prime Minister’s Office who is also the Acting Chairman of AITI. Also in attendance were Members of Authority and personnel of AITI.
The event began with a recital of takbir raya, Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by a religious talk delivered by Ustaz Isham bin Ismail from Pusat Da’wah Islamiah.
 
The ceremony then proceeded with the distribution of the sacrificial meats to twenty four (24) underprivileged families around the area of Kg Anggerek Desa by the guest of honour. For the ibadah korban ceremony two cows were sacrificed and a total of 14 AITI staffs and their families took part for the korban occasion.
 
Apart from performing good deeds and religious obligations, the ceremony is also aimed to foster the relationship among AITI staffs and to encourage participation in religious and social welfare activities.
