AITI to conduct Broadcasting and Television Market Survey

The Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) will be conducting a household survey to collect data on consumers’ attitude towards the current broadcasting and television market in Brunei Darussalam.
 
The survey will be conducted over a period of 8 weeks, from April 14 to June 16, 2014 with a sample of 1,000 households.
 
In order to carry out the task, AITI has assigned Spire Research and Consulting to conduct the survey which will be carried out on randomly selected households throughout the four districts.
 
The survey will be conducted on a face-to-face basis. Interviewers will carry an identification issued by AITI. All information and feedback received will be treated with strict confidence.
 
The main objective of this survey is to carry out a detailed market study and to develop a five-year strategic plan for Brunei Darussalam to further promote economic growth and identify development programs in line with the National Vision 2035. This shall further enable AITI to take a step forward in making the broadcasting and television market in Brunei Darussalam more competitive, organized, dynamic and vibrant, more controlled, has its own identity, encourages growth of the industry and increases its contribution towards the economic growth.
