The Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) in collaboration with E-Government National Centre (EGNC) and IT Protective Security Services (ITPSS) as Brunei Computer Emergency Response Team (BruCert) will be organizing a 3 and half - day - event entitled Cyber Security Awareness Week 2013.  The theme of the event is “Promoting Cybersecurity & the Effective Use of Social Media”. 
One of the main objectives of the event is to promote and raise awareness on the importance of being aware and secure while doing activities on the Internet in the country.  There will be cyber security talks scheduled to take place as follows:

The cyber security talks are FREE and the public are welcome to join.  However, seats are limited and it is on a first-come-first-served basis so those who are interested will have to submit their names and the title of talk to: and for reservation by Thursday 8 Nov 2013 at 4pm.
Besides the scheduled cyber security talks, there is also an exhibition showcasing ICT related services and security solutions by various participating vendors.  An exciting line up of games and interactive sessions has also been planned throughout the day during the event.
