Flying the Brunei flag at CommunicAsia 2014

The 25th International and Communications and Information Technology Exhibition & Conference (CommunicAsia 2014) will be held from 17th to 20th  June 2014 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore with the theme, ”Bridging Communication Borders, Optimising Business Opportunities”. The Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry (AITI) is leading participation by eleven home grown ICT businesses for the sixth consecutive year.
 
The Minister of Communications, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Hamzah Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Hj Abdullah bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Hj Bakar will attend the event. Seeing the Minister off at the airport was the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Communications and Chairman of AITI, Yang Mulia Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Hj Mohamad Yusof. 
 
The delegation led by AITI left for Singapore yesterday to prepare for the event. AITI sees CommunicAsia as an opportunity for the participants to gain maximum exposure to the latest ICT offerings and provide a platform for them to extend their business networks.
 
The Brunei Darussalam Pavilion at CommunicAsia2014 will host exhibitors from DST Communications Sdn Bhd, Network Integrity Assurance Technologies Sdn Bhd (NiAT), The Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB), BruGPS Technologies Sdn Bhd, Folec Communications (B) Sdn Bhd, Ishajaya Sdn Bhd, SocialBuzz Advertising, PHMD Publishing Company, Halbase Company, Itsybytes Company and DotRoot Technologies.
 
Participation in CommunicAsia2014 aligns with AITI’s function to promote local ICT industry development and growth by helping them to extend their reach to international markets.
