KL Converge! came to a close today after 3 days of showcasing the digital lifestyle.  Visitors were treated to interactive sessions and dialogues, master classes and workshops with live demos and displays of apps, games, films and TV shows.
This morning, the Brunei Pavilion participants were treated to a site visit to Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios to share the studios experiences and gain insight into the state of the art technology that is currently available. The studio is currently making a TV drama series for Hollywood which gives Brunei delegates a glimpse into filming for Hollywood standards.
The afternoon saw Hj Yahkup bin Hj Menudin, Chief Executive of AITI join a panel discussion by The Economist to talk about "The future of Broadband in South-East Asia. Other panelists included opinion leaders from the connectivity ecosystem across South East Asia such as Dato’ Mohamed Sharil Tarmizi, Chairman of MCMC, Ms Jacqueline Poh, MD of IDA, Singapore and also Undersecretary Louis Casambre from the Department of Science and Technology, Philippines.
The Brunei Darussalam Pavilion was coordinated by the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam to showcase Origin Films Sdn Bhd, Regal Blue Productions, Itsybytes Company, Ambuyart Animations and MegaBond Productions together with trade visitors from the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB), Kristal Media Sdn Bhd, Progressif Cellular Sdn Bhd, Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB) and Shazana’s Production House.  Showcasing our local creative and digital media industry at this platform gives them an opportunity to make connections and build networks in the ASEAN region.
