Assistant Chief Executive

Overall Responsibilities

Responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction in the development of Brunei Darussalam's local digital sector and broadcasting content industry. This includes formulating ICT industry development strategies and action plans, overseeing the execution of key programs, and focusing on creating new digital industries, fostering innovation, and empowering both society and businesses with digital capabilities. Additionally, the role also aims at creating sustainable opportunities for local broadcasting content businesses.

Requirements and Job Specifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, IT Management, or any other equivalent degree.
• Proven working experience of at least ten (10) years in the industry development or relevant areas with exposure of working with senior management in an organization.
• Having Master’s degree in relevant areas is an added advantage.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including government officials and industry leaders.
• Proven proficiency in business development, market analysis, and staying ahead of ICT industry trends.
• High level organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Deep knowledge of key digital technologies and emerging trends.
