Manager, Legal, Legal and Enforcement Unit

Overall Responsibilities

Provide support in ensuring compliance to all statutory obligations under the AITI Order, 2001, Telecommunications Order, 2001 and any other relevant laws of Brunei Darussalam with the aim of protecting AITI’s interest. Also responsible for conducting legal research as well as providing drafting assistance and sound legal advice to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements and Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB Hons)
• Admission to the Brunei Bar or other professional qualification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of corporate law, regulations and procedures.
• Possess high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Excellent leadership and at the same time able to contribute as part of a team.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills, proactive, and able to multitask as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good research skills, analytical skills, communication skills both in Malay and English and proven ability to interact and manage relationships effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
