Technician, Equipment Standards (1 Post)

Overall Responsibilities

Responsible for providing technical support related to the technical evaluation, testing of telecommunications equipment imported into Brunei Darussalam. This includes processing of Type Approval, Equipment Registration and Amateur Apparatus Licence applications.

Requirements and Job Specifications:

• HNTec or equivalent to Brunei Darussalam Qualification Framework (BDQF) Level 4 or National Diploma in Electronic and Communication Engineering or any related fields deemed fit by AITI.
• OR have been in D1 Salary scale for a minimum of three (3) years in the related field.
• Having a minimum of four (4) years of working experience in a related field is an added advantage.
• Familiar with a wide range of telecommunication and radio communication equipment.
• Good research, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good stakeholder engagement skills, communication skills, and a proven ability to interact effectively and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
