Overall Responsibilities
Responsible for providing technical support related to IT systems, hardware, software, associated peripherals and devices. This includes but is not limited to installation, deployment, asset refreshment, repairs updates, troubleshooting, providing routine reports on support activities, corrective and preventive maintenance tasks. The employee will serve as the first line of support for end users, providing technical assistance to help ensure smooth and efficient IT operations.
Requirements and Job Specifications:
- HNTec or equivalent to BDQF Level 4 in Information Technology (or) National Diploma in Information Technology or any other related field deemed fit by AITI.
- OR have been in D1 Salary scale for a minimum of three (3) years in the related field.
- Possessing relevant certification is an added advantage for example CompTIA, Microsoft Technology Associate, ITIL 4 Foundation Level and etc.
- Prior experience in technical support services and troubleshooting systems is also an advantage.
- Familiar with a range of diverse IT systems, networks, software and hardware.
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and proven ability to interact and manage relationships effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good knowledge and proficiency with help desk software (ticketing system) to log, track, and manage user support requests.
