  • Implementation Guidelines for In-Building Optical Fibre Cabling for General Housing Development (IFC GHD Guidelines)

    (Effective date: 1 December 2015)

    These IFC GHD Guidelines lay down the detailed specifications of the space and facilities which developers or owners of buildings are to provide under the Code of Practice for In-building Optical Fibre Cablings For General Housing Development 2015 (IFC GHD Code) in order to enhance the range and/or quality of info-communication services, based on optical fibre, which may be provided to their buildings by telecommunication system licensees.

    This document is to be read together with the IFC GHD Code which sets out the mandatory requirements in respect of the space and facilities which developers or owners are required to provide.

    These guidelines describe the AITI’s requirements associated with collection of the CMSL fee for mandatory implementation by the Authority’s Licensees responsible for collection of the same. Starting 24 January 2020 onwards, the CMSL fee of B$25.00 is revised to B$0.00.
