Executive Summary

AITI is seeking a Tenderer to provide the service of Technical Consultancy to support the review of the AITI Strategic Plan 2026-2030 by providing technological knowledge, expertise and insights into future trends and technology foresight that would be most impactful given the context of Brunei Darussalam to ensure that the Strategic Plan is relevant and forward-looking.

 

The objective of this is to ensure the Strategic Plan is holistic and relevant for the future. The Successful Tenderer shall be engaged to review and provide input to enhance a draft Strategic Plan framework produced internally by AITI. The Successful Tenderer shall validate, comment and advise on updates to the draft, and conduct any internal and external stakeholder discussions / consultations needed to provide the advice and recommendations. The nature of input may include advice and changes to the framework, preliminary focus areas, targets, and initiatives / programmes that have already been gathered and developed.

 

The high-level scope of work involves:

  • Performing a comprehensive evaluation and assessment of the preliminary Draft Framework produced internally by AITI;
  • Development of recommendations to enhance AITI’s Strategic Plan 2026-2030, in the form of technical advice, future technology outlooks, and other initiatives. These recommendations should aim to support AITI in fostering a conducive regulatory environment and offer strategies that contribute to the growth of Brunei Darussalam’s digital industry;
  • Conducting workshops and consultations with relevant stakeholders, such as government and private sector stakeholders, in Brunei Darussalam; and
  • Conducting training and knowledge transfer to AITI.
