Amateur Radio Written and Practical Examination for Amateur Apparatus Licence March 2024

AITI would like to invite those who are interested in applying for the Amateur Apparatus Licence by registering the following examinations:

First examination: Written
This examination is divided into two (2) sections:

  1. Section A will cover topics relevant to Amateur Radio theory, procedures and licensing policies in Brunei Darussalam.
  2. Section B will cover topics relevant to the technical aspects of the Amateur Radio

Second examination: Practical
This examination will be ‘hands-on’ and conducted individually. This is only eligible depending on the results from first examination subject to Terms and Conditions.

Important Information for Exam Registrations

  1. The examination registration is open from Tuesday, 6 February 2024 until Friday, 1 March 2024.
  2. Register for the exam online through the AITI Online Services Portal. Applicant is advised to ensure that their user account has been validated before registering for the examination.
  3. The examination registration is B$10.00 (non-refundable). Last date to make full payment is on Monday, 25 March 2024 (latest by 1159hrs).
  4. Applicants who have made payment after Monday, 25 March 2024 1159hrs will not be able to sit for this March 2024 examination however, will be brought forward and registered in the next Amateur Radio Examination session.
