Brunei Content Festival (BCF) 2023 Award Opens for Submissions

The highly anticipated Brunei Content Festival Award is back again this year! First launched in 2022, the Award aims to raise awareness and promote local contents by recognizing the content creators, producers, talents and industry players, as well as to generate more high-quality local content with commercial potential that can be distributed and telecasted through Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms and other digital media platforms. It will also provide opportunities for local production companies and new media content producers to collaborate among each other in co-producing, marketing, and distributing new media content.

There are two main categories for the Award, namely the Industry Category, which is open to businesses, and the Open Category which is open to freelancers, students of higher learning institutions, and  individuals. The subcategories are as follows:

There will also be Jury Awards given chosen from the submissions of Industry and Open Categories. These special awards are as follows:

Entry to the Brunei Content Festival 2023 Award is now open for submission until 23 June 2023.  Any completed content that has been released in Brunei Darussalam or is currently airing, between 1 January 2021 until 31 March 2023 is eligible to participate. The winners will be announced at the Brunei Content Festival 2023 Award Night, which is scheduled to be held in September 2023.  An industry forum, the Brunei Content Festival 2023 Content Screening and the Brunei Content Festival Award Night are among the main events.
