Manager, Governance and Compliance

Overall Responsibilities

Lead and strengthen the organisation’s governance framework, compliance processes, and risk management initiatives. The role ensures the organisation operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices while promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct.

Requirements and Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Public Policy, Audit, Accounting, Finance or any related field as deemed fit by AITI.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in governance, compliance, risk management, audit, or regulatory affairs.
• Professional certifications such as CGEIT, GRCP, CRCM, ICA, CIA, CISA, CRISC, ACCA, CPA or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles, risk management methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience working with Boards, senior management, and regulatory authorities is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication skills, decision-making, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good stakeholder engagement skills and a proven ability to interact effectively and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
