AITI exercises regulatory functions in respect of tariffs and charges for telecommunications and related services to ensure that such services are offered in a fair, transparent, and non-discriminatory manner while promoting effective competition and protecting consumer interests.
In carrying out this role, AITI oversees the filing and publication of tariffs by telecommunications licensees in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements. The relevant regulatory instruments include:
